This was shot at the beaches of Hua Hin. On a lovely cloudy morning, when I went for a stroll on the beach, I found this dude striding across on this horse. Not sure if he was safeguarding the beach or looking for prospective clients for horse riding.

Talakadu is a place around 150 KMs from Bangalore that is famous for 30 temples buried under the sand. Only 5 of those temples have been excavated so far.
We found this little puppy sleeping under a tree next to a temple at Talakadu, blissfully unaware of whatever is going around. When I went close to take a shot ( I was using a 10mm lens ), it quickly woke up and started sniffing around my lens. This is one of the nice photos I was able to capture that day.
After a night stay in the tent, we went for an early morning trek after breakfast. We were lucky to find an elephant with its baby as soon as we had started and they gave us a good chance to steal some nice pics while they broke some twigs for breakfast.
Ah, forgot to mention, this was at Parambikulam.
In Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary, we went on a guided tour of the forest. On the way one of the most magnificent creatures we spotted were the spotted deer. They were ambling across just around the road and that gave me an opportunity to get a close shot.
While moving around our cottages at Parambikulam, we were lucky to spot Nilgiri Langoors wandering nearby. After all the jumping and diving, one of them got tired and hung itself limply on the tree branch. The expression on his face says it all.
On one of my recent trips to Coimbatore, me and my wife were waiting for a bus to take us to Karunya University. Behind the bus stand, the road was dug up and I noticed this guy walking up on the mud with unprecedented confidence. When I turned around to take this shot, this grasshopper stopped and turned its head towards me and opened its mouth as if to say something.
I hope that got captured well in this shot!
