Monks watching the annual ceremony at Ligdum / Ranka Monastery, one of the most well renowned monasteries in Sikkim.

In the main market, we saw a buddhist temple with prayer wheels all around its outer wall. Devotees are supposed to go clockwise around the temple and rotate all prayer wheels.

St John’s in the Wilderness is an Anglician Church, built in 1852, located at Forsyth Ganj, near Dharamshala. The church is surrounded by beautiful gardens and is a great place to have picnic for families with kids.

We were passing by Jal Mahal in Jaipur during the NRI Festival. A lot of cultural programs were happening in Jaipur during that period with a bunch of cultural artists performing around Jal Mahal. This is where we spotted this boy, dressed as Krishna, enchanting the crowds.

Inside the Wat Chalong, we found magnificent sculptures of Buddha in various poses. The room was mostly dark, with some light seeping through the windows and when it fell on the brown colored statues, their beauty got magnified manifold.
