The early bird catches the worm, goes a popular saying. And the early photographer catches the sunrise

Timing makes all the difference, especially when you are taking beach photographs. This one was shot between 5:30 AM to 6:00 AM at Hua Hin beach, one of the most beautiful golden sand beaches in the world. The golden light of the sun added to make its beauty manifold.

Wat = Buddhist Temple
Wats are most important symbols of Thailand because majority of Thais are Buddhist and they are a sight to behold. Rich carvings, bold colors of red and gold present such a mesmerizing view that its hard to take your eyes off them.
It is beginning to seem like Promthep Cape was my muse during my recent visit to Thailand. No other place has given me such variety of photographs as this one. From temples to shore, this one has it all.
As we were walking by India Gate one evening, saw a flock of birds sitting on a tree. As we approached, the birds flew away and were promptly frozen in my camera.
Its one of those photos that looks great as a silhouette with the evening glow in the backdrop.
This is my tribute to Gurgaon, the concrete jungle. The place is so full of buildings and vehicles that there is almost no space to walk. If you are not inside a car, you certainly don’t want to be outside it either.
Everytime I see this photo, the notes of this evergreen song start strumming through my mind. Isn’t it really hard to say which one is more beautiful?
“Even the clouds have gathered to admire the colors of sea and around”, says Madhuli Gupta in a comment. There couldn’t be a better way to describe this scene.
Another one of the magnificent views that you get when you land in Phuket.
This is one of the most interesting temples I have ever seen in my life. Its circular, with the deity in the center surrounded with a circular parapet. Around the parapet, there are elephants of various types and sizes that look like donations from the piligrims. There are 4 entries to this temple and each one is guarded by 2 elephants.
Do look for this temple when you visit Promthep Cap in Phuket.
This was shot earlier in the year when we were in our balcony celebrating the festival of lohri. This is a North Indian festival that marks the end of winder and involves burning a fire out of wood and then offering some popcorn and rewari to the fire.
Sonali just had a bit of popcorn and looked at me to offer some with this irresistible expression in her eyes.
Lol, can’t think of a better title. Look at the photo carefully and you will start yawning. The photo of a yawn that makes you yawn – thats as simple as recursion gets
