This is a photo from one of my first visits to Lalbagh after I got my 1000D. There were a bunch of ducks that had come out of the lake and this one came out and spread its wings magnificently for them to dry in the Sun.
On one of my recent trips to Coimbatore, me and my wife were waiting for a bus to take us to Karunya University. Behind the bus stand, the road was dug up and I noticed this guy walking up on the mud with unprecedented confidence. When I turned around to take this shot, this grasshopper stopped and turned its head towards me and opened its mouth as if to say something.
I hope that got captured well in this shot!
This is from one of my trips to Rangantithu Bird Sanctuary near Mysore. When we took a boating trip around the lake, we saw a bunch of crocodiles lazying around on the rocks. These birds were the only creatures who dared go close to them and even sit on their backs.
I later found out that this bird is called the River Tern.
On our recent trip to Port Blair, we were coming back on a ferry from the Havelock Islands to Port Blair. It was evening and as darkness fell, the magnificent beauty of the sunset showed up in all its vibrance.
This is the photo of my cousin on her wedding day. Of all the shots that I took on that day, this one, taken just before the garlanding ceremony came out as the best.
